What Should I Weigh? |
Your body mass index (BMI) as defined by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, considers you “overweight” with a BMI of 25-29.9 and “obese” over 30. To calculate your BMI: |
| |
- Divide your weight in pounds by your height in inches
|
- Height of 5’8” equates to 68 inches
|
|
|
| |
| Example: |
5’8” tall / 195 pounds |
| |
195 divided by 68” = 2.88 |
| |
2.88 divided by 68 = .042 |
| |
042 X 703 = 29.8 BMI almost Obese |
